The “Higashi-Osaka City Colorful Communication” is a multicultural education project promoted by Higashi-Osaka City and it has been implemented since 2022. Lecturers from foreign countries or with a background in international cooperation were invited to introduce local lives and cultures in other countries to primary school students. This is our third time to join and our Ghanaian staff explained about the local lifestyle and culture. The children, who had studied about foreign cultures at schools in advance, touched crafts and clothes brought from African countries and listened intently to the realistic explanations that were not based on books.
